Also at NXTcomm, Matisse (booth #SU4511) will be conducting a live demonstration of its EtherBurst Packet WDM system using the Ixia IxNetwork(TM) testing suite to simulate a combined 60Gbps Triple Play (voice, video and data) traffic and high-bandwidth low-latency business Ethernet services.

The IEC Communications Forum event will be moderated by Michael Howard, Principal Analyst and Co-founder of Infonetics Research and will include panelists Timon Sloane, VP of Marketing for Matisse Networks and Tony Thakur, VP, Network Technology and Architecture at Time Warner Telecom.

Panelists will present and discuss the different alternatives packet transport vendors have to make optical bandwidth virtualization a reality.
